How to read a racket

Five variables that change how a racket responds. Not sure where to start? Tell us your level and we'll recommend one.

    3K · 12K · 24K carbon

    More filaments per weave means more stiffness and ball exit. 3K is forgiving; 12K and 24K respond instantly.

  2. 02

    Weight

    A lighter racket is easier to handle and kinder to your arm. A heavier one drives the ball with less effort.

  3. 03

    Shape

    Round for control, teardrop for balance, diamond for power. Shape defines your game.

  4. 04

    Frame

    A carbon-reinforced frame adds stability on off-center hits and extends the life of the racket.

  5. 05

    Core

    The EVA rubber sets the feel: firmer for power, softer (Soft Foam) for ball exit and comfort.

Do you ship anywhere in Costa Rica?
Yes. We ship nationwide by courier. Cost and delivery time depend on your area — we'll confirm both before you complete your purchase.
Are QUAD rackets genuine, and do they come with a warranty?
Yes. GASI Sports is QUAD's authorized distributor in Costa Rica: everything we sell comes direct from the brand, built at the QUAD Factory in Portugal. Rackets carry QUAD's factory warranty against manufacturing defects. Normal wear and impacts against walls, glass or the floor are not defects. If something fails, message us with photos and we'll handle it with QUAD for you.
How do I choose my racket?
1. Round shape: more control and a larger sweet spot. Ideal if you're starting out or play on the backhand side. 2. Teardrop shape: a balance of control and power. The most versatile. 3. Diamond shape: high balance and maximum power. For attacking players with solid technique. 4. Weight: a lighter racket is easier to handle and kinder to your arm; a heavier one gives more ball exit. 5. Level: torn between two models? Tell us how you play and we'll recommend one.
What sizes do you carry?
Shoes come in European (EU) sizing. Apparel follows the brand's sizing. Each product shows its available sizes; if you're between two, message us and we'll help you choose.
